End-Grain Cutting Board

This 8-foot live-edge dining table was commissioned for a family in Butte, MT. The slab was sourced from a single black walnut tree, carefully dried and flattened before hand-finishing to preserve every natural curve and figure in the grain. Steel hairpin legs provide a modern contrast to the organic form. Finished with three coats of hand-rubbed oil for a silky, durable surface.
